What we offer

  • Community Services

CAHRA provides specialized services to people who are homeless, including case management, advocacy, information & referral. The agency also provides Emergency Shelter to homeless families and individuals. The primary objective of the Emergency Shelter Services is to provide a stable, secure environment combined with supportive services that will enable the household to move into permanent housing as quickly as possible.

  • Nutrition Programs

Supported by the United Food Bank, the program focuses on building partnerships. The FAIR Program facilitates the allocation of Emergency Food and Shelter Programs dollars to local pantries and coordinates the mass purchase of food, significantly increasing the buying power of the local food pantries.

  • Housing Programs

The program focuses on educating clients on the importance of keeping up with maintenance to extend the life of the structure and insure the continuing affordability of the home.

  • LIHEAP Program

The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) is a federally funded program that helps low income households pay their heating/cooling bills, minimize crises, and make energy costs more affordable.
